Meadow Park, site of last year's championship where nobody broke par, played tough again this year, as hot weather hardened the greens, and the course yielded only 24 pars and two birdies to the field of golfers. The sandal-clad Slaminko used an iron off the tee on all but one hole, and the strategy paid off as he avoided big numbers and dug out a 3 stroke victory.

Shawn, taking advantage of several fortuitious bounces off trees, shot a front nine 39, closing the nine with four consecutive pars. Playing partner Chris Tovey birdied the 10^th and closed to within three shots on the 15^th hole, but was unable to overtake his brother down the stretch.

Mike Tovey shot a front nine 42 that featured several key putts, but was victimized by a mysterious lost ball on the tenth hole that seemingly vanished from the left edge of the fairway.

Carvin Wilson won Closest to the pin on the 8^th hole, nailing a 17 foot birdie putt in the process. Bert Dewell won KP on #17. Chris Tovey won the prize for long drive on the narrow 9^th hole.
